About the Firm

20+ years of enterprise HR leadership.
Now available to every organization that needs it.

The Firm

Calderwyn Advisory Group was founded on a straightforward premise: executive-level HR counsel should not be reserved for organizations large enough to employ a full-time Chief Human Resources Officer.

We sit at the intersection where leadership, law, and organizational risk converge — the space where the decisions made in conference rooms and boardrooms carry real legal, reputational, and human consequences. Our principal advisor has spent two decades inside those rooms, advising CEOs, boards, and executive teams on the decisions that matter most.

We do not offer generic frameworks or templated solutions. We bring experienced judgment to the specific facts in front of us, with the discretion that sensitive matters require and the rigor that high-stakes situations demand.

Career experience spanning complex, multi-state organizations.

Kristie Jimenez, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, AWI-CH, ACC

Founder & Principal Advisor, Calderwyn Advisory Group

"Experienced judgment is most valuable when the facts are complex, the stakes are high, and the decision must withstand scrutiny."

Kristie Jimenez is a Senior HR Executive with more than two decades of experience leading human resources, legal compliance, and workplace investigations for large, complex organizations. Her background spans employment law compliance, executive and board advisory, workplace investigations, HR risk management, and organizational strategy — bringing the kind of measured institutional judgment that consequential decisions demand.

Before founding Calderwyn, Kristie served as a senior HR executive for a national nonprofit with more than 7,500 employees across 12 states, overseeing all aspects of HR operations, employee relations, workplace investigations, employment law compliance, and organizational risk. She personally managed hundreds of employment matters and litigation files, directed EEOC and Department of Labor responses, led government audits, and advised executive leadership and board members on workforce risk and governance matters at the highest organizational level.

Her enterprise experience spans the full spectrum of organizational complexity: she led a major HRIS migration (Ceridian to UKG), designed and implemented an enterprise-wide succession planning program, founded a DEI governance initiative, led union avoidance and decertification strategy, and built the HR infrastructure that enabled a multi-state organization to operate with compliance and confidence. Her career also includes senior HR leadership in energy and oilfield services, transportation and logistics, and other industries — giving her a cross-sector perspective that few advisors can match.

She founded Calderwyn Advisory Group to make that depth of experience available to every organization that needs it — without the cost of a full-time executive hire. The clients she serves include CEOs, founders, boards of directors, general counsel, executive directors, and senior HR leaders across nonprofits, healthcare organizations, private companies, and multi-state employers.
